Part of The Golf Academy’s new paradigm for helping to develop a better golf swing is to directly train the golfer’s body by using the revolutionary Kellion PowerGroove training machine. Our goal is to get your body to automatically not only perform properly, but also very powerfully. The design of the and the drills we have you perform will achieve that desired effect. The PowerGroove program we suggest is founded on two elements:

    • Highly targeted muscle strengthening that is both golf-specific and accomplished via golf swing motion. This method of muscle development is uniquely efficient, correct, and effective.
    • Neuromuscular conditioning that in essence programs unconscious muscular reflexes to fire correctly in sequence—automating the golf swing as never before possible. This is commonly called “muscle memory,” and the POWERGROOVE creates it to an unprecedented degree, overriding bad habits as if they never existed, grooving the swing like regular golfers dream of, and offering rarified levels of control to accomplished golfers.



    Training with the PowerGroove will help you attain both of these requirements. The PowerGroove assists in training the segments of the body or the kinetic link. It helps us train from the ground to the feet, legs, pelvis, hips, torso, arms, hands and club.

    Before the advent of Kellion’s PowerGroove technology, no training equipment provided the full complement of necessary capabilities. And to fully appreciate what the PowerGroove can do, we need to look at the type of resistance, which we call exponential resistance. While it also happens to be major advance across the spectrum of exercise applications, it is perfect for swing-sport purposes because it provides that mirroring of the muscular demand curve described by initiation, acceleration, and impact zone.




    In other words, the PowerGroove helps the golfer reprogram their “neuromuscular pattern” and “feel”. Instead of using contradictory and harmful “swing thoughts” and “tips” you are using a targeted neuromuscular system that is quite different than traditional teaching. “The golf swing is a feel and not a thought”.
