Swing Dynamics

Swing Dynamics Weight Right Force Plate

The Swing Dynamics Weight Right Force Plate uses a computerized force platform to create a biofeedback tool for posture, weight-bearing, weight shift, and center of gravity movement during static positioning at address and dynamic positions during the golf swing motion itself. It monitors right/left, heel/toe and rotational movements (three planes of motion), while actually tracing the golfer’s center of gravity. It is estimated that 99% of all golfers have never had their balance and weight transfer measured, nor seen the center of gravity (COG) for their swing. The Weight Right Force Plate graphically demonstrates a golfer’s weight shift pattern in several visual graphs including: Center of Gravity, Total Forces and Acceleration. With the Weight Right Force Plate real-time audio and visual feedback, we can make corrections quickly and more effectively to produce the type of swing that will give you better results. The golf swing is built from the ground up, so this technology is a must to help give you the foundation you need to improve. In this way you will learn to “feel” balance and weight shift during your swing. Weight Right is the most useful tool for teaching and learning the golf swing in the past twenty years.

The Fish Hook creates a slight draw. Good swing path, inside out.  This is the pattern we want a student to achieve.

The Explosion or Early Extension explodes the hips toward ball,
Causing loss of spine angle and power.

The Slice Swing  is a path that's outside in as there is no lateral weight shift and weight goes from Right toe to Left heel.

The Slide weight transfer in line with ball flight line.  Sometimes a good hit, sometimes a push or block.  Compensating move creates a duck hook.

The Athlete hits the ball well, but loses some stability to the right. Loses power because head down restricts forward ability to unwind.

The Reverse Pivot has all weight on left foot then it reverses back to right.  Result bad swing, no distance, slicing, topping, etc.

The Hang Back, all weight on Right foot, NO weight transfer back to left foot.

The Spin Out, weight on Right Heel then quickly to Left heel.  No lateral shift. Lack of balance causes left heel to “Spin
